This poster was made in commemoration of the third anniversary of Myanmar’s Civil Disobedience Movement.

This design was inspired by Myanmar’s International Women’s Day protests in 2021, when women raised their sarongs (htamein) as a sign of defiance against military dictatorship and patriarchal norms. 4×6 Postcard Available with Burmese slogans. This ornament is designed as homage to the traditional Burmese toy, the “Pyit Taing Htaung.” The Pyit Taing Htaung is a traditional rolling doll that rights itself whenever it is tossed.
