TRAUMA Our Trauma tees are made in Myanmar with soft cotton.The text on the shirt in Burmese translates to say: “Trauma : The leftover flowers that remain after all we have been through.”
This design was made for us by one of the women artists in our collective.
The full set includes 7 postcards depicting street markets, teashop culture, and several well-known sites in Myanmar.
Our Longyi, Our Flag, Our Victory! Design by Kue Cool. This design was inspired by Myanmar’s International Women’s Day protests in 2021, when women raised their sarongs (htamein) as a sign of defiance against military dictatorship and patriarchal norms. 4×6 Postcard Available with Burmese slogans. These designs were hand-stitched onto soft Inlay Cotton, by Rise and Shine Clothing, one of the members of our collective.
Measures 40 cm x 40 cm, comes with a zipper closure.
